Cloudy maternity photos here we are! The weather in Japan has totally lost its mind this month! I prepared myself for a hot, humid summer having spent the summers in Mississippi the last 5 years, but I did not prepare for almost an entire month of rain and cloudy skies! Lauren and I rescheduled her maternity photos so many times this month! We finally caved and decided to go for it on a day that was 100% overcast and 90% humidity (thanks rain).

We had to shoot fast and wipe a lot of sweat during this cloudy maternity session, but we did it! It looks like the sun has finally come out to play this week! Now it’s just really sunny, hot, and humid instead of cloudy. 😂Anyways I am personally obsessed with the more casual images of Lauren in front of the thin bamboo shoots. Have you ever seen a happier, more excited mama?! I cannot wait to meet her little nugget, due just a few days before my own!
