I am surprised how many of our friends here in Delaware have told me they have not been to Slaughter Beach yet! This was one of the first beaches we checked out, and while it’s maybe not the clearest looking Delaware beach or swimming water, it is the PERFECT strolling beach! I was so glad that Sophia and Jansen grabbed one of my beach mini session slots. If you have ever relocated a business before, you know it is HARD to start over in a new market and get the word out. Thankfully we have a built in military community, where word is slowly spreading that I am here! haha!
Unlucky for them, it was SO COLD AND WINDY on the day of their session. Like, 48 degrees and what felt like 30mph winds, lol. They did not let it phase them! It did mean we could basically only stand facing one direction, but it totally worked. I’m grateful they came with big smiles and easy-going attitudes. Also, they brought their golden retriever whose name is ALSO Murphy (just like ours)! So that was mega-exciting and he behaved SO well for photos. Just look at him staring right into the camera! Perfection.
Thanks so much for giving me the opportunity to photograph you, Sophia and Jansen! Next time I hope it is about 20 degrees warmer for us and a lot less wind so we can talk over it more! 😂💖
