I am so thrilled to be able to offer motherhood mini sessions this year! The past few years this was far too full a time of year for me to also offer motherhood mini sessions. (Hello having a baby and sakura season in Japan, lol). This year, I decided to make these sessions a priority. I had a vision for studio mini sessions where mothers could come and embrace their little ones for 20 minutes. 20 minutes of nothing but cuddling, playing, and relishing in the beautiful gift motherhood.
Motherhood Mini Sessions
These sessions look like you and your babes heading over to my house, and walking into my bright studio which is the front room of my house. I will have my studio lighting setup with a big, seamless paper roll ready for you! I’ll help direct you how to interact with your child so you don’t have to guess what to do or how to stand. The room is large and inviting and before you know it, the 20 minutes will be over and we will have a camera roll full of wonderful moments!
Natalie and Emilia
You might recognize this first motherhood mini session from this lifestyle newborn post! That’s right! Natalie and Emilia were the first clients to check out my new in-home studio (promise I will share a tour later!). You simply CANNOT BEAT those gummy baby smiles and cheeks! The cheeks are to. die. for. Emilia is at one of my favorite ages. The “happy-squishy-potato stage” where all day you just look at your child and think, “I could literally eat you up you are so cute just sitting there.” IYKYK, haha!
ANYWAYS, thanks for being exemplary models of the bond between mother and babe, Natalie and Emilia! I hope to share many more examples of what the bond of motherhood looks like with these sessions!
